Summary

Joined Charged Particles in 2020 as Community Lead, grew into Executive Creative Director, and eventually became COO across a five-year arc. Charged Particles built smart wallet architecture. Programmable accounts that hold and earn yield from underlying assets. An early case for treating tokenized accounts as composable financial primitives rather than collectibles.

My surface across those five years stretched wide: spoke on behalf of the team at conferences, panels, and Twitter Spaces; led content production reaching tens of thousands across DeFi infrastructure, music, gaming, ReFi, and phygital verticals; conceptualized new use-cases as the platform layer matured; wrote and educated externally about the technology; built HYDRA at ETH Denver 2022 (still the flagship event production from that era). The world tour. US, Europe, Asia. Happened while I was wearing those hats simultaneously.

Why it matters

Charged Particles ran the smart-wallet thesis years before account abstraction became standard category language. The bet. That the unit of programmability in DeFi would be the account, not the artifact. Was non-obvious at the time and is now the foundation under most of the ecosystem's strongest consumer-side products.

What was noteworthy

The discipline of staying with one thesis across multiple market cycles. And across multiple roles inside the company. Taught more about operator-seat work than any single launch did. Community-side at the start, creative-side in the middle, executive-ops by the end. Same thesis throughout.

The other noteworthy part is the breadth of formats the role demanded. Public-facing conference work, deep technical educational material, partner conversations, creative direction across the brand and product surface, and eventually the operational ownership that comes with COO. The five years were a real apprenticeship in the range of work that being in the operator's seat asks for.
